Resumen

El objetivo principal de este artículo de revisión es analizar críticamente la literatura existente sobre la gestión integral de riesgos laborales en empresas químicas, con un enfoque en la mejora continua de los sistemas de gestión. La metodología aplicada está basada en los marcos de referencia en la gestión integral de riesgos laborales, y aplicada en el análisis del ciclo PDCA (Planificar, Hacer, Verificar, Actuar), o también conocido como el ciclo de Deming o ciclo de mejora continua, es un enfoque sistemático para la gestión de la calidad que se puede aplicar con éxito en la gestión integral de riesgos laborales en empresas químicas. Se concluye, la gestión integral de riesgos laborales en empresas químicas es un enfoque esencial para garantizar la seguridad y salud de los trabajadores, así como para proteger el medio ambiente y la comunidad. A través de la implementación de metodologías como el ciclo PDCA y normas como ISO 45001, y mediante el uso de herramientas tecnológicas avanzadas, las empresas pueden enfrentar los desafíos específicos del sector químico. La capacitación continua y la promoción de una cultura de seguridad sólida son componentes cruciales para la efectividad de estos sistemas de gestión.
