Focus and Scope

National and foreign academic articles are accepted, with the results of theoretical and applied researches in the following areas: Health Sciences, Social and Political Sciences, Educational Sciences, Communication Sciences, Technology and Applied Sciences, Natural Sciences, Arts and Letters, Sciences Economics and Business, Mathematics and Science Computer Science; which will be grouped in each issue according to the type of article submitted.



Peer Review Process

Once the author has sent the article, this is reviewed by the editor to verify that it relates to the thematic scope of the journal, and that meets the Guidelines for Submitting Originals. If its opinion is favorable, it will proceed to evaluate the scientific validity of article. To do this; the scholarly papers, review articles, essays and communications, are subject to peer review. Book reviews take only an editorial revision.


If the opinion is unfavorable, the editor will notify the author that the item has been rejected by one of the following reasons:


1. By not corresponding to the theme of the Journal


2. Failure to comply with the Guidelines for Submitting Originals


The process of academic peer review is conducted under the double-blind method, which guarantees the anonymity of both assessors and authors. In case of difference of opinion between reviewers, the article will be sent to a third expert.


The editor will notify authors of academic opinion, with one of the following criteria:


1. Approved without changes.


2. Approved with optional suggestions.


3. Approved, but subject to mandatory changes (forwards).


4. Rejected.


When the article is approved but it is subject to mandatory changes, the author, after receiving the views of the reviewers, will have up to 7 days to make the outlined arrangements; then the work will be returned to the referees to reevaluation. Two forwards will be accepted.


Reviewers will have up to 15 days for the first review and, if appropriate, up to 7 days for each of the following revisions.


An article may also be dismissed for failure to meet deadlines for the delivery of corrections.


The authors have the right to withdraw their article by formal communication when they desist the intent to publish.

Publication Frequency

The Journal “Dominio de las Ciencias”, has a quarterly basis, but can also present monographic and special numbers.


Regular numbers will come on January, April, July and October

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
