Herramienta Quizizz para mejorar la comprensión lectora en estudiantes de básica media de E.G.B.

Resumen

El presente estudio analizó la efectividad de la herramienta digital Quizizz en la mejora de la comprensión lectora en estudiantes de básica media. A partir de un diseño cuasiexperimental con enfoque cuantitativo, se aplicaron pruebas de comprensión literal e inferencial en modalidad pretest y postest a 78 estudiantes de la Unidad Educativa Rosa Mercedes Garcés. La metodología incluyó tres fases: diagnóstico inicial, intervención gamificada con Quizizz y verificación de resultados. El análisis estadístico se realizó mediante pruebas t de Student para muestras relacionadas, Wilcoxon, ANCOVA y correlaciones de Spearman, con apoyo del programa JAMOVI. Los resultados mostraron incrementos significativos en las medias de comprensión literal (de 6.54 a 8.60) e inferencial (de 6.39 a 8.93), confirmados por pruebas paramétricas y no paramétricas. El ANCOVA reveló que la comprensión inferencial predijo de manera significativa la comprensión literal en el postest (F = 61.32, p < .001), mientras que la correlación de Spearman (? = 0.888, p < .001) evidenció la estrecha relación entre ambas dimensiones. Se concluye que la gamificación mediante Quizizz constituye una estrategia pedagógica efectiva para fortalecer la comprensión lectora, favoreciendo tanto el aprendizaje literal como inferencial, con implicaciones teóricas y prácticas para la innovación educativa en básica media.
