El asma es un síndrome que ocasiona inflamación y estrechamiento de las vías respiratorias. Esto hace que se presenten sibilancias, dificultad respiratoria, opresión en el pecho y tos. Por el desarrollo industrial, se ha producido un aumento en la población infantil. En este artículo, se intentaró hacer una evaluación desde las pruebas usadas para su diagnóstico, su clasificación, fenotipos y los tratamientos mós frecuentemente utilizados, así como, el uso de sistemas de inhalación.Citas
